Hello everyone!
Its my turn to PC a project, and I am really passionate about this one.
The Sabre Foundation donates books to Iraqi Universities, but they are unab=
le to pay workers to package the books. Thats where Aspire comes in. We are=
a handful of volunteers who organize crates full of medical and technical =
books before they are shipped off. Many of you might know how expensive boo=
ks are, now imagine how=20
expensive they must be for students in Iraq.=20
Come help!!!!
Bring clothing that you are not afraid to dirty up. Oh, and you might eat s=
ome breakfast beforehand, since we will be at the warehouse from 9:00 am-- =
2:00 p.m
Oh, and this will take place outside of campus.=20
This Saturday (December 5) will be the next volunteering trip to the Sabre
warehouse, processing textbooks for shipment to Iraq and other developing
countries. As usual, we'll arrange rides to depart from the MIT student ce=
nter
(W20) at 9:15am. We meet at the loading dock, where the shuttles stop, i.e=
. by
the blue marker on this map: http://tinyurl.com/n7hln4. We should get back=
to
MIT around 2:15pm. If you expect to come, kindly RSVP by the end of this
Thursday, so I know how many cars to arrange.=
