For great Justice/Efficiency, NomComm has been changed to Tuesday at 9pm in
the office. Right after Exec. (Exec is at 8:15pm).
I apologize to anyone whom this inconveniences...
Wait, what is NomComm?
Nominations Committee meets once each term just before elections. We
consider each eligible brother, and ask the question, "Which officer
position would they be good at/enjoy?" We then "assign" folks to, erm,
convince these people that they should run. :) Current officers are
encouraged to approach prospective officers about their position.
It's fun, and you get to talk about how awesome people are! :D
Pledges and inactives, although they cannot actually vote, can still
nominate, and are thus also encouraged to attend NomComm.
If you can't make the meeting, and are sad, fear not! You can still share
your ideas about "what position brother X might like to be", with me before
or afterwards or whenever.
If you have any questions about an officer position, ask the current
officer! Or one of the previous ones. Blanche-ing an officer's list (i.e.,
apo-bvp, apo-president, etc) will list the last three folks who have held
that position.
Hope to see you there,
YiLFS,
Kristin
