As a general rule, it's necessary to have a brother (with office
access) for opening and closing shifts of UMOC, Big Screw, and Book
Exchange. It's nice to explicitly put 9:30-10 and 5-5:30 slots on a
chmrr for this purpose, and make sure they get filled by brothers.
It is also nice -- but may or may not be strictly necessary -- to have
someone with safe access to retreive or put away money. Current and
past Presidents and Treasurers have safe access.
