Hey APO!
One of the nominees for the MIT 150 exhibition is "Plaster cast of
UMOC": a plaster cast of the 1972 winner, who was apparently a real
celebrity on campus.
You can read about the entry here
(http://museum.mit.edu/150/entries/1348) and then go vote on it so that
we get a bit of publicity! (http://museum.mit.edu/150/ballot)
They also haven't yet cited APO as the originator of the contest, so
maybe it'd be cool if we sent them more information about the contest
and that it's still going on =)

I suggest you all vote unless you want things like Steer Roast and
Project Athena to be beat out by the Baker House Icicle or the Baker
House Purity Test; as it stands, _four_ of the top ten items are about
Baker House, and none of them are about the rest of the dorms:

From the website:
"MIT 150 aims to capture the Institute’s unique qualities by involving
the entire community in the interpretation and presentation of its
most treasured objects. These artifacts will show what makes the MIT
environment so distinctive and so productive of innovative solutions
for the world’s challenges."
