Hello Brothers,

The CRC project this Saturday is going to be awesome! But if you are
unavailable 10-2pm, I encourage you to still make service part of your
weekend by volunteering with HMMT. They are flexible and need volunteers
all day 9-5. Email Beth at beth_s@mit.edu if you can help!

YiS,
Sophie

Randomites,

Interested in academic enrichment for students in the local community?
Want to meet cool people who live *outside* of Random? (East
Campus...West Campus...even Harvard!)
Just want free breakfast and lunch?

Well, this Saturday is your opportunity!
Come help run the locals-only competition of the Harvard-MIT
Mathematics Tournament! 400 students from the greater Boston area
will be showing up this

**Saturday, November 7th at MIT.**

We'll need volunteers all day (9-5), so either come all day or for
just a few hours. Like your typical math tournament, we'll need
people to grade and proctor. However, we also need people to run
something called minievents, (fun 1 hour events like set, rubik's
cubes, gluck, hypercubes, relays, anagrams, countdown, buzz) as well
as the Guts Round, an action filled event, best described by this
video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kx2GeVHjNIU

To help out, send me an email letting me know what times you're free
and what you'd like to do.

Yours always,
Beth Schaffer
Tournament Director
