Hi all,
Unfortunately it looks like running Crisis* is not going to happen this
year. (But maybe look forward to it next year!) There is some prep work to
be done before next fall. If you're interested in learning more about
Crisis or working on it, contact Yale at (yalezuss@aol.com).
*Crisis is an international relations educational roleplaying scenario
started by an APO alum, who asked the chapter for help running it at
Splash. Running the program would teach highschoolers about international
relations!
There is still plenty of service on the weekend of 11/21. I encourage you
to volunteer individually for Splash security or check-in at esp.mit.edu/
volunteer/index.html <http://esp.mit.edu/volunteer/index.html%21>
But FIRST, consider helping with a fundraiser for the Philippines.

If you would like to coordinate APO's manpower presence and efforts with

The event is a basketball tournament both days; Saturday and Sunday
9:30am-5pm in Rockwell and Dupont respectively. They need volunteers as
timekeepers, scorekeepers, people to take admissions at the entrances, and
plan to be selling food and T-shirts.
