People need to hold their office hours, cf. the following:

If you can't be there during your office hours, and no one else is
scheduled to be there, send mail to apo-brothers to ask if someone can
cover.
If you step out for a few minutes... there used to be a little holder
with signs saying "BRB", "In back office please knock", etc. We took
that down when the door was painted and we should put it back up.
