Hello!
If you're interested in the issue of violence against women, or just looking
for a project to PC, I have an opportunity for you:
On Thursday October 29th from 7-9pm in 10-250, the Technology and Culture
Forum is hosting Malalai Joya, Afghanistan Parliament Member, for a talk as
part of a series on Violence Against Women. In an effort to connect
learning and awareness-raising with action, I would like to have a related
service project that weekend, about violence against women here in Boston,
which we could offer at the Forum as a means by which people can take action
after learning. Some TAC people and I are trying to schedule a
brainstorming meeting this coming week, and whether you can come to such a
meeting or not, I'd like to have a PC so that APO can make this happen!
