Hello!
I am writing to invite you to an hour-long conversation (with snacks!) to
help shape the Service Learning program at MIT.
Have you ever completed a class and wondered what else you could have done
during the semester? Have you been a part of project-based classes where
your projects provided a public service? Or where they could have done so?
As service-minded members of the MIT community, I would love to hear about
your in-class experiences with public service. In what classes have you done
public service projects? Are there classes where you would like to see this
as an option? What would make it easier for you to do service as a part of a
class?
This is an opportunity for you to get your thoughts out early in the
reshaping of a program at MIT. Please join me for a conversation about
Service Learning and how to make it grow.
*When: Thursday, October 1, 4:00*
