All right, people!
We have a huge project coming up, City Days!
Though City Days was fortunate and got enough Orientation Leaders, they and
the CRC would like us to help herd the freshmen on the CRC project.
City Days is on Friday 9/4 10am-2pm (we'll be out there at 9:30am).
On Monday 8/24 at 6pm we will be scouting along the river, learning about
the invasive species and everything we need to tell the freshmen. Let me
know if you /cannot/ make that, so that I can cluedump you at some time.
Undergrads, alumni, everyone, sign up on the chmrr so that I don't bug you

This is a great great time to meet lots of service-minded freshmen!
The project will be:
-cutting back invasive species along the bank
-picking up trash for those who don't want to cut
-possibly some tree pruning
-lunch break in the middle
Our job will be:
-showing the freshmen what to do
-keeping them motivated
-talking to them about service and why the work is important
-teaching them about the Charles, the environment, plant species, etc
