Hello brothers!
We have a very exciting opportunity next week. Rebecca and I have been
working with LEM to bring B-SAFE, a program for Boston kids, to MIT to learn
about environmental stewardship. High school students will be here in 5
groups:
Tues July 21 10:45-12:00 and 3-4:30pm
Wed July 22 10:45-12pm and 2:45-4pm
Thurs July 23 10:45-12pm
We need volunteers for set up, hospitality, for touring MIT and pointing out
environmental aspects, for helping with demos and activities, and whatever
else comes up. Please be able to meet up at least half an hour before the
time listed above (when the students show up).
Additionally, if you have any expertise in the area of
environmentalism/sustainability, or ideas about cool things on campus to
show off, tell me about it! We're going to have tours and presentations by
students in the field, Terrascope, Sustainability, battery-powered cars, and
hopefully some demo-type activity.
Reply to me with which slot(s) you're available! This is a really cool
project, just developed from the ground up, that will hopefully pave the way
for something bigger in the future.
