If you are already a leadership god, to whom primitive tribes
throughout the greater Boston area sacrifice small subs from
d'Angelo's with an obsidian dagger, and dedicate all their PCs to
in an ornate and moving clue-dump ceremony frequented by tourists,
this is not for you. Go to the open project instead, or find a
small country to run or something. (Here, take my job! :-)
However, if you are
* a pledge
* a first-term brother
* a second-term brother
I *strongly* encourage you to attend the leadership workshop.
"Older" brothers are also welcome to attend. If you have held several
major leadership positions, you might not learn as many new things.
Then again, you might.
It will be held at MIT, in building 1, Sat. Feb. 11 all day
There will be breakfast.
It will be fun.
It is a service to the chapter!
Leadership skills, besides being vital to the functioning of the
chapter, will be useful for the rest of your life. I urge you to take
advantage of this opportunity.. usually you have to go to a conclave
to find an APO workshop on leadership, and not all conclaves have
them.
If you can attend the workshop, which will run most of the day on
Sat. Feb 11, starting at 8,
send me e-mail or sign up in the office. If there are not enough
people, it will be cancelled, so please do sign up!
YiLFS,
Bridget
