Hello Alpha Chi!
At the end of term, our Advisor Ellen Kranzer gave us this sage advice: "The
summer goes by very quickly. Make sure you get started on your projects in
JUNE!"
Well, there's still a good chunk of June left. And at the end of June, we
need an event to regroup as a Chapter, to celebrate summer, to refocus on
Service, to reconnect with brothers and alumni, and of course to eat
delicious food.
"We should have a barbecue," said brother Ash Turza at our most recent
service project as we sat in a Harvard lab with high school girls
experimenting with science. And she volunteered to man the grill.
THEREFORE,
Join us, brothers, alumni, advisors,
on Sunday June 28
at 4pm on the Kresge BBQ pits
for an evening of grillin' and chillin'.
Meat and veggies and veggie options will be provided for the grill, but it
is requested that, in potluck fashion, attendees bring a small side to
supplement the meal. (drinks, salads, chips, desserts, etc)
Get ready to catch up with your brothers on how they've spent the first
month of summer, what fun service projects have been going on, and Alpha
Chi's ongoing projects and plans for the future!
RSVP to Ash at turzaak@mit.edu so she knows how much meat to get (let her
know if you're veggie).
I hope you're having a great summer!
YiFLS,
Sophie
