May 30 Serve-a-thon!

Wow, this is going to be an exciting project!
If you're not going to Afterfinals, or if you're coming back early, join
with us and volunteer organizations from all over Boston in one massive
Serve-a-thon.
You've seen it in the Service Newsletter, you've had a chance to think about
it. Now I need for you to reply to me because we need to register a team of
10* people. So far I have 3: me, Piper, and Aviv. That means there are
seven more spots! That's a lot of spots, since people will be gone on
Afterfinals! So don't be shy. Reply NOW, because I have to register you
online by Wednesday!
Here's how the project will go:
Saturday May 30th
7:30am Meet in the APO office
Kendall-->Park Street, walk to Government Center
Register at Government Center, see some sort of Kickoff Ceremony
9:00am They bus us to service sites all over Boston. We stay together as a
team.
9:30am-3:30am Service! Working with beautifying and renovating buildings
and parks and such. Mural painting.
Also, a lunch break. I'm going to see about packing us cute little brown
bag lunches*.
3:30pm Bus back to Government Center, T back to MIT.

*City Year, who runs this, has volunteers pay $30 each for stuff like
t-shirts and lunch and to support the program. But I talked to them, said
we just want to help out with service, and they've waived the fee for 10 of
us.
