Hi all,
I have a few things for you to note if you're coming on afterfinals.
First, meet in the office on Saturday at 0930. There will be bagels for
breakfast.
Second, there is going to be some cost for food (feeding people is
expensive!), but we're not quite sure how much yet. It will probably be
somewhere between $20-$30 for the week (obviously less if you're only
there part of the time). We'll settle payments after next week, so you
don't have to bring money on Saturday. If this is a financial hardship
for you, let me know.
Third, below is a checklist of things to bring. It might not be
complete. If you think of something that should be on there, by all
means reply to this email on apo-discuss.
* sheets/blankets or sleeping bag
* pillow
* towel
* soap + shampoo
* toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, etc)
* clothes for working - 8 days
* (after you're done working, you can change into your next day's clean
clothes)
* clothes for sleeping
* shoes or boots for working
* small set of warmer clothes for evenings
* raincoat/umbrella
* bug repellent
* sun protection: hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
* water bottle
* entertainment for the evenings: books, journal, cards, sudoku,
coloring books, whatever.
* games to contribute for a game night (we'll bring some, too)
* movies to contribute for a movie night
