* Sam needs to tell us where those Memcomm minutes are
* Booxex needs to be reserved for the future
* I-Banquet needs a PC
----------------------------------------
APO Exec Meeting 3-18-09
7:31PM START
Matt, Ellen, Amy, Liz_, Cristen, Alioth, Xavier, Kristin

*Officer Reports*

President: We have 8 actives from the Chapters going to Conclave next
weekend. Ellen and Caroline are driving some people. There still has to be a
bank account transfer.

SVP: Not much.
Lots of pledges are enthusastic about PCing stuff! yay!
More service projects will be scheduled soon, I promise.
Remember, if you've PC'd something, to give me a PC evaluation form! Vicki
still owes me one, maybe Alioth too, I'd have to check. Latifah and Rachel
are Steak Fry PCs.

PVP:
1. memcomm met and I sent out the minutes yesterday
2. Pledges seem generally happy
3. A couple pledges are hosed. Please help me watch out for EJHester and
swanberg
4. Several pledges have already taken on PCships and are going to lots of
projects.
5. I am going to Costa Rica on Friday for a week! Woo spring break!
6. Steak Fry will have the pledge class namesake, Ping Huang, in attendance
7. I want to give the pledges a presentation on the national organization.
Does anyone know how to contact mims or George Cober or another national APO
person?

BVP: nothing in particular to report. I have a review today, so you know how
it is. I'll be emailing about advisor lunches tonight. Also, I don't
understand why firefox thinks that advisor is not spelled correctly.

Treasurer: Nothing to report, I think.

AC: I checked the mail, we still have none. Not much to report otherwise.

PubDir: paints & supplies have been inventoried and refreshed
* The cancer group on campus sucks:
...they have 2 outstanding receipts that I'm "working on" (ok, so i wasnt
able to e-mail them because apo wouldnt start up for me to send them e-mails
about them)
...today I e-mailed them that they have until sunday to return them or we
will be charging the group directly for replacement costs (there are people
in the office all day, so it shouldnt be a problem, but i'm willing to set
up a different time for them to meet up with me/someone)

APOcEd: People seem to like the From the Archives feature. I really like
making it, so yay! I think we can learn a lot from our chapter history.

adehnert has expressed interest in being APOcEd.

OM: (Matt wants Dominon (the board game))
Is unhappy with Xavier for having kept that stapler so for long! Will put up
schedules in some organized fashion later this week. Someone came in and
mopped today, it was exciting. Will deal with shelves later.

Historian: Will have an awesome gallery someday.

Advisor: Will not be here for Steak Fry, but will be on email.

*Committee Reports*

Bookex
Nothing to report

CPW
Amy emailed a person who never got back to her. Are other people interested
in just general volunteering? We're also doing a Festival event with Free
Rice. Also confirmed for the Midway Festival, and Matt publicised the office
as open for visitors a few hours afterwards.

UMOC
There are some people really interested in revamping UMOC. Jasmin and Sarah?
Maybe the committee could do something, use things from CPPC.

BigScrew
* I hate computers...i still need to type up the minutes from the
meeting...it'll happen soon, i promise!
* I've added people to the mailing list
* let me know if you're interested in helping out

*People Who Maybe Could Be Officers Next Term? More People Can Be
Recommended

Pres: kkuhn
SVP: sophical, catherio, catthu
PVP: ahailes, liz_
BVP: ahailes, kkuhn, jaxxson
Treasurer: nteague, jmcquaw
AC: jaxxson, kdrinkwa, catthu
PubDir: slehmann

*Other*

We have all these chairships, some of these might be better off being run by
other officers? Take a look at these chairs, see if you see any you think
your officer position would be better off appointing this chair than the
president:

coke chair - OM
tools - SVP
www - AC
there is precedent for this!
continue to think about this.

*Kristin bought pop tarts!

*From Liz!: have people filled out schedule cards yet? everyone should do
that asap <3

Meeting adjourned 8:07pm
