Dear All,
The Open Meetings are happening Jan 26, 29 and Feb 8...YAY!
I'm going to be in Florida Jan 16-30...YAY!
I'm going to miss OM 1&2...BOO!
Please come to them if you have time. Having brothers present means that each prospective will have someone to talk to from the chapter.
The layout: MVP says this is APO, nat'l coed service fraternity, blah blah blah, nothing too tedious. The MVP then introduces the three tenets and the current (hopefully) officers that most pertain to them. Then the P (leadership) Fellowship Chair (fellowship) and SVP (service) will talk. If there are slides around that we could show, then this is when they'd be shown. Then there is a Q&A session. Names are collected, as well as ph #, e-mail, living group, how they heard about us, etc, and the group will flow en masse to the office for a tour. This is the "traditional" way of doing, so it should be old hat.
What I need: Current P, SVP, FC and MVP are the preferred bunch to go up and speak. However, one or more of these will need subs for one or more OM's. If you have formerly been any of these and is willing to speak at any of the OM's, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE volunteer to do the job--you might even be told that it's already covered, in which case you are welcome to come to the meeting and be in the audience.
Cookies and drinks for all who come!
Thanks!
YiLFS,
Emily
