Big Screw is one of our big annual events. It gets our name out to
students, raises money for charity, and gives people a chance to rant
about their least favorite profs!

It is April 13-17.

It's super fun, and even more popular than UMOC!

For those unaware, we accept nominations of professors who have
"screwed" you over. Each professor picks a charity. Students (or
anyone else, for that matter) vote with money (1 cent = 1 vote). At
the end of the week, all the money goes to the winner's charity.

As PC, you would act as overall manager, create/find some sort of
prize trophy, and make sure the money gets to the right charity at the
end of the week. A big part of your job is staying on top of your
sub-PC's, which are...
Publicity subPC (posters(!!!!), banners, booth decoration, Tech articles, etc)
Candidates subPC (keeping track of paperwork, finding candidates,
getting signatures)
Manpower subPC (Dexicon construction, people poking)

The first two are a fair amount of work but they're super-important!!!
It's also important that they both get done *early*!!!

Big Screw is not looming dangerously *quite* yet, so it's fine if you
don't yet want to commit - just let me know if you'd conceivably be
interested.

If you have questions, you can talk to me, or Lanthe (lanthe@mit.edu),
who PC'd it last year. Lots of older folks would know things, too.

woooo~~~
