thanks
good news
so-so news
why

* thanks to kdrinkwa and catthu for helping with the
  small press build today

both are awesome apprentice wood butchers (rough carpenters)

* the APOffice is back to the way it was (within epsilon)

the wood for the small press cut build is cut

i swept a lot of the front and back APOffice floor

* so-so news

there is some fine sawdust in the APOffice.
it wasn't noticed beyond where we were working,
until we were almost done cutting.
i have been blowing air out of the APOffice
(the return vent for the air flow into the APOffice is in the hall
  way.)
  no AX vacuum cleaner,
so there isn't much more i could do about it

the small press cart now needs to be assembled,
  which involves drilling holes,
  driving screws,
  wrenching nuts and bolts,
  keeping everything square and level,
  etc.

i will probably work on the small press cart again next
  saturday or sunday.
  helpers will be welcome

* why didn't we get further?

the wonderful 1.5" thick board in the APO lumber inventory
that appeared to be solid all the way through was not.
the void was in exactly the wrong place.
the weight of the small press could not have been carried by it

sadly we had done more than half of the saw cuts,
  including the hardest cuts.

so we had to consider alternative designs with
  the available lumber on hand.

  we found one,
  that involved 50% more cuts.
  they are all done.
