Hi APO,

As we get to the middle of IAP and people are returning to campus, as the
incoming PVP I want to begin getting people interested in pledging for the
spring pledge term.

Most of AX's recruiting is done through word of mouth, so each brother
represents AX to MIT. I know that we're all excited about our chapter and
want to get our friends involved. So, think of all of your friends as
potential brothers.

I would like all brothers to bring in members. So here's one way you can do
this:
1. Think of at least 2 of your friends (since we're all in several
organizations like sports/SIPB/major department there are lots of people you
could talk to)
2. Tell them what you've done in APO and how exciting it has been, and ask
if they'd like to come to one of the open meetings or open projects.
3. Make sure they have all the information and motivation to go to that
meeting or project, and go with them on it.
4. If they enjoyed the APO event you took them to, ask them if they want to
pledge.

I'll be just as happy if you take a different route to get prospectives.
The only action I ask you to take is to consider getting your friends
involved in the aspects of APO that interest you and them. Bring them in as
pledges as an effect of their interest in our service and fellowship
activities.

YiLFS,
Samuel
