November 1994

With less than tow months to go, First Night 1995 is shaping up to be a
very exciting event. With the addition of Liz Thompson, our new director,
and some creative programming, First night will once again turn the city
into a magical stage where we will envelop you with sites and sounds you
have never dreamed of.

On behalf of myself and the staff at First Night, i would liek to extend our
sincere gratitude for a superb effort in making First Night 1994 a great
success. This year, we at First Night invite you to participate in our new
volunteer program. In the past, we have held a party at the end of the
evening for all volunteers, however, this year each volunteer will receive a
stipend of $40.00. Additionally, everyone will receive the Official First
Night Volunteer Jacket and First Night Button.

We here at First Night fee l that it's our way of giving back something to the
people who really make the event happen, you, our volunteers! Positions are
limited to 300 slots, so if you would like to participate, please return the
enclosed (following) application by the December 6th deadline. (Note: as of
12/6, a phone revealed that they still need volunteers.)

Please don't hesitate to call me at the First Night Office, 617-542-1399 if you
have any questions or concerns.

All the best for the upcoming holiday season to you and your families.

Sincerely,

Sandra Kelley
Volunteer Coordinator
