Hi all,
I'd like to have a first BookEx meeting sometime this weekend. We'll
be discussing subPCships and making plans to do what needs to be done
before BookEx. YOU should come to this meeting!
What times are people available? RSVP with preference for Friday
afternoon/night, Saturday morning/midday/evening, Sunday
morning/midday.
=== Why YOU should participate in BookEx ===
BookEx is the biggest project APO does, and one of the most visible.
It was a lot bigger this term than it has been in the recent past, and
we'd like it to stay that way because it is epically awesome. That
means *you* should get involved, whether this means doing hours at
Dropoff, or being my apprentice PC, or anything in between.
Pledges: you should get involved too! BookEx has a lot of subPC
positions, which may sound intimidating but which are totally doable
by pledges / new brothers.
SubPCships are:
- Dropoff at end of this term (at finals week coffeehouse and other times)
- Dropoff at the beginning of next term
- Manpower: making chmrr sites and poking people
- Publicity: get people to sell books through us, get people to buy
books from us
- Food: help brothers retain the will to live!
- Web god: make our database happy
- Apprentice / assistant to the overall PC: I teach you how to do
BookEx and you do it the next time it happens
yilfs,
Alioth
