Stuff that happened:
cradles to crayons--yesterday--PC'ed by k_french
It happened, and sounds like it went well, except austein hurt his back.
It doesn't hurt to breath anymore. There was no first aid kit there, and
so he didn't get any aspirin.
The moral is: REMEMBER TO BRING THE FIRST AID KIT ON PROJECTS!
Also remember, the T pass is kept in the money box in the door of the
Coke Fridge.
Upcoming stuff that has PCs:
10/15--Room to Grow; PC viccro; people should go!
10/17--senior toast; PC swanberg; they want 5-10 people to be there at
4:30, it's a short commitment, people should go
10/28--book folders, PC catthu -- making folders for helping kids learn
to read
11/1--family literacy fun day, PC s_evans, help out at an event
encouraging family literacy. play with little kids.
UMOC--jaxxson
Stuff needing PCs:
Date TBD--help the World Computer Exchange test and pack donated
computers at Chinatown on any weekday or at their location in Braintree
on 10/18 or 11/15. Let me know if you're interested.

I need help. I need to schedule another pledge ceremony.
There are still 3 people who want to pledge now. Even though it's half
way through the term. Can someone else schedule the next pledge ceremony?
lwest is emailing the pledges that the ceremony will be Thursday at
10pm. Brothers are expected to show up.
The first pledge meeting will be Sunday.
If you haven't filled out a big form and a brotherhood requirement form,
you should do so.

Mobbing night went great on 10/9.
good for brothers that were sung to
fantastic (non surprisingly) for brothers that sang
there may be interest in doing it again
maybe with songs from sour notes?
issue of disturbing nonbrothers with songs
Steak Fry coming up: 10/19, 6:30pm, Talbot Lounge. Be there!
Stamps are expensive. Anyone know how that usually plays out?
Printing address labels problem was resolved*.
*Resolved, provided the solution (ps2pdf labels.ps; acroread
labels.pdf; print from acrobat) makes it to the next generation.
Ederegt is constructing the brother board (info on brothers & pledges).
We want a bulletin board!
If you see one one reuse, grab it.
If you can donate one, sweet.
If you can get even a small one, that's good enough, because
lwest has a big one she uses, but will trade to APO for a smaller one if
APO has a smaller one to trade.
You should make a person for the brother board!
Supplies on the office table.
On the horizon: mini dance party, brotherhood-keeping-track of
requirement forms (I'll do that soon, for reals), healthy food in the
office.

AC

I just reserved a room for the pledge ceremony Tuesday.
Apparently the UA is now sorting mail on Fridays. I'll see Monday if
this actually happened.
AC gets to work with Treasurer to fix the apo-actually-actives list and
such.

Pledges are being proactive about writing project reports. Brothers
should be too!
Trying to get knowledgeable people to write clue about things like how
to use the locker.
**********
PubDir
**********
Pubdir needs to do a few things.
*Teach the pledges/other interested people how to sell drop posters!
Liz! should help me figure out when.
*Finish the board in the Infinite. I'd like to put a list of pledges there!
Keeping contact with the PSC would be useful.

office report is about the same as last week. I poked around a bit more,
moved a few things out of the way. Nothing particularly special. Plan to
take down shelves above sewing space and maybe put a little bookcase
next to the sewing space to hole the games.

Nationals
**********
The will be a committee meeting here next week, in Boston. There will be
brothers here who will need a place to stay.

I've been hosed trying to do work around the High Holidays, and sadly
this upcoming week looks just as bad.
Found a web chair - andrewd
Office Hours were updated
Lists should be fixed
Going to Conclave in two weeks with one of the pledges, it'll be fun
Found more people go to to Nationals
We can submit awards nominations!

Leadership
We should apply for the fellowship one.
At the last exec meeting, we discussed some last minute recruitment. The
mail thing failed to help us because the mail that was given to BC desk
didn't get put in mailboxes at all, and the ones at Next didn't get put
in mailboxes until after the event they were advertising. If we put them
in Interdepartmental Mail, they must be delivered on time, but it
requires more work on our part, since they need a name and room number
on them.
There are a lot of brothers who have become less active over the past
term or so.
"People need to make people." -OM
"Are you advocating pregnancy?"
"Incest is best."
We need a new Coke Chair.
It'd be cool if they had access to a car.
