Hey everyone! So at our Brotherhood meeting last night, Brown and Kristin
and I had a bunch of great ideas we want to implement. One of these ideas is
to create a sensor to know when the office door is open- ie when someone is
in the office. This would be useful to pledges, who can't get into the
office themselves so if they aren't sure if people are in the office (not
actual office hours) they don't want to trek across campus and be
disappointed. This would also be good for use of people who want to buy drop
poster etc. It'd even help all of us out for similar reasons to those of the
pledges (it's more fun to hang out when others are there).
Anyway, the point is: we'd like to install a sensor (like the bathroom
server in Random). Anyone want to take on this project? If you know what
you're doing, it shouldn't be that hard. I would have no idea what I'm doing
(I'm course 4...) so it'd be awesome if someone was as excited about this as
we are and actually knows how to implement it. Email back if you have
ideas/are interested in leading this movement:)
Liz
