Here is a great service project to start the year off with. Participate in the
Boston Heart Walk!
please email me back and let me know if you will be joining me.
Please include your cell phone number/room tele number in your email.
What: Help the Boston Heart Association hand out water, food, and t-shirts to
walk participants. We will be stationed at a medical booth, or we will be
stationed at a certain area of the course to direct people and hand out free
stuff.
Why: to help raise money for research, education and health advocacy programs
that reduce the incidence of heart disease and stroke. And you will probably
get some free shwag.
Where: start at the Hatch Shell on the Esplanade in Boston [see link below for
directions].
When: Meet outside the APO office at 6:30am on Saturday Sept. 13. Be at hatch
shell by 7am.
[beginning of term is a good time to get in some hours, do it!]
