Hi all -- thanks for all the responses! Below are answers to the most
frequently asked questions.
What is AXAA? Why am I getting this email?
AXAA is the Alpha Chi Alumni Association, which offers service and
fellowship opportunities for AX alums. You're getting this email
because you're either an Alpha Chi alum, or you're a current member of apo-acl@mit.edu
(or apo-alumni-liaison@mit.edu).
Why do we need to ratify new bylaws? What's wrong with the old ones?
Because AXAA is defunct, we need to ratify new bylaws to be re-
recognized. We recently obtained the most recent bylaws on file at the
National Office, and are in the process of reviewing and transcribing
them, but they will need to be ratified before AXAA can be recognized
again.
Will there be a chance to review the bylaws before the meeting?
Of course. They will be sent to the email list axaa-news@mit.edu as
well as apo-news@mit.edu in the near future.
How do I make sure I receive more updates about AXAA?
Although we are sending email to a number of lists at the moment,
eventually we will start sending exclusively to axaa-news. Blanche
yourself onto axaa-news or send email to axaa@mit.edu and we'll place
you on the list. We can also remove you from axaa-news if you no
longer want to receive emails from us.
If you have anymore questions please email axaa@mit.edu. If there are
a large number of queries on a particular topic, we'll send out
another email.
YiLFS,
~Mandi
