I had no intention of belittling Veteran's Day, my apologies. It is
merely "odd" to have a Friday off for a long weekend, because the
Instititute sometimes tweaks things to make Monday or Monday/Tuesday
Institute holiday days, even when the day being celebrated isn't on
those days.
