Hey all, I'm PCing our involvement in MedLinks' Bike Week, which is
the week of the 28th (and some of the preceding weekend; that's less
than two weeks!).

IF INTERESTED REPLY TO ME SO I CAN SET UP A MAILING LIST.

Things you can help out with right away:
> Building a "wheel of fortune" type thing for the lobby 10 booth.
> Cantaloupe drop testing this weekend! (Who doesn't love to splatter things?)
> Ping pollardk to critique / comment on fliers briefly; we will also need people for postering.

Planned items include:
> Lecture on Wed the 30thl in 4-270, by an EMT instructor, on brain injury, including free food.
***Even if you can't help with any of the other events, you should
still come to this and bring your friends!***
> Bike tour of Boston on Sun the 27th. We are still looking for people to lead this.
> Bike maintenance event on Sat the 26th. We have a leader for this but I'm sure we could use assistance (and probably tools, wink wink nudge nudge).

More info to come as Bike Week draws nearer. See forwarded message for
further details.
yilfs,
Alioth

HOLA!

[medlinks-exec is cc'd to this email, jsyk]

You haven't heard from me in a while! I apologize, I've been a little hosed.

Bike Week is sooooooon! YAY! here are some updates:
-the bike mechanic bailed on me [I just found out today:(]
-someone I know [vtarasov] said he'd be willing to do the bike
maintenance event on Saturday April 26th.
-I'm still waiting to hear back from a Leslie student who said he'd
find someone to lead a bike tour on April 27th - I'm also looking for
someone else in case he can't find anyone.
-we have a speaker on April 30th in 4-270, Mark Fogues - he's an EMT
instructor and he's going to talk about brain injury. [PLEASE COME TO
THIS EVENT AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS]. There will be free food.

 I need help:

-I need someone to help me test out the cantalope drop this weekend.
If you will be around and like squishing things please let me know!!

-I want to build a prize wheel [ think wheel of fortune] for the
lobby 10 booth for bike week - but I'm a neuroscientist not a
mechanical engineer and I need help!!!!!

-I have some ideas for posters, I need some people to help me print
and distribute them around campus. [and also to tell me if they are
stupid and not worth the ink....and also to tell me if they are
brilliant and that I should become an advertiser...;p]

If you can help with any of the above please tell me. You can count
it towards your medlink hours:)

 ADIOS!~K~
