Hi Zev,

Welcome back! I hope you had a good break! I just wanted to let you
know of some events that are coming up - feel free to pass this on to
the rest of the chapter.

First of all, thanks to Jen Tu (our section 96 webgoddess), we have a
new section website! Check it out at http://www.apo96.org/.

Our *Section 96 Leadership Day* will be held from 10:00am to 5:00pm on
Saturday, February 9 at the University of Connecticut. It looks like it
will be a very productive day, offering Launch, Discovery, officer
transition, bylaws revision, interviewing skills, and conference
planning workshops. A pizza lunch and snacks will be provided. Anyone
can attend, and the day is *free! *More information, and *online
registration* is available from the section 96 website:
http://www.apo96.org/ldday-reg.shtml.

*Conclave* will be held on February 29 - March 2 at Maine Maritime
Academy. This will be a long trip, but MMA historically has put on some
amazing conferences - complete with tours of their training ship, formal
dining in etiquette classes, and the funniest consequences for elbows on
the table you've ever seen! It will be a blast! Plus, you will get a
chance to perform service alongside brothers from all over New England
and learn from wonderful presenters at workshops. I hope a good number
of the chapter can attend.

*Remember, Spring conclave is the time you elect a section chair and
take care of a lot of business.* *Each chapter should have 2 voting
delegates at the business meeting on Saturday afternoon. *Please let me
know, as soon as possible, if anyone from the chapter will be attending
and about how many brothers to expect. You should be receiving the
registration packets soon, but Katie is trying to get an estimated
headcount ahead of time.

Please let me know if you have any questions about either of these
events. Thanks!
