Meeting Called to Order at 5:01pm

-We’re out of applications for active membership. We should order more.

-“Initiation was today. We’ll have photos up.”
-We’re the only chapter without pictures on our homepage. One of today’s
photos will go there

AC is tooling. I’m taking minutes.

-“I suck at kicking people to return stuff. I’ll do one more round of
yelling at people.”
-Also, there’s a giant roll of paper in the basement (of EC) that
someone should take to the office today.

-What’s going on with our bins? Does anyone here have a special
relationship with the CAC?

-“They’re being ordered! They don’t have enough, but they said they’re
being ordered, and they’ll be here… soon.” ~ a week
APOced isn’t here. People should write articles.

lwest- We’ll use forms instead of a website this year. It will be
different, but it will be faster… There’s a phone vibrating under my
butt, but it’s not mine.
I’ll go over how to check books with the people who are doing Finals
Coffeehouse.
Does anyone want to PC Bookex? <crickets> I figured I’d be doing it.
Discussion - Something about asking Quantum for certain books, so we can
guarantee a supply of books for freshman classes. Coop might get upset
because of completion, but that Coop doesn’t sell textbooks. They’re
supposed to have exclusivity in the Student Center… stuff.
People don’t know how to sell books, and the instructions are long.
Riv’s instructions are nice. But they’re short. Have instructions with
the Mirosoft Paperclip “It looks like you’re trying to sell a book!”
Looking for a PC apprentice, who can help, and then PC it next year, and
then have an apprentice of their own. Can we make Bookex a chapter
skill? Nomination for dsheets. Training would be cool, but it would be a
bigger commitment. Lots of random Bookex talking.
If anyone’s interested in being the apprentice, talk to lwest.

“Conclave made money. My computer could tell you. I’m not a spreadsheet.”
We had a grant. Do we have to pay it back, since we made a profit?
The grant got used to make it cheaper for people to come who wouldn’t
have otherwise, which is the only reason we made a profit.
New Business
“Any NIBs free from Dec 28-30 for a fun trip to PA?” -austein
Movement for a Nationals Committee in the chapter

We’re doing floor service. We don’t have to do manpower, but we have to
organize it, be able to know how to find the prez in the middle of the
night when she could be anywhere…
Can we use tracking devices?
Getting volunteers for committee…
We could use those anklets to track them

“We need to close the budget… We’re not losing money are we?”
“No, but people should pay their dues. A lot of people haven’t paid yet.
Especially pledges.”

meeting in February.
First chapter meeting next semester:
Wednesday @ 6pm, first week of term. February 6th, 2008.
