Richard, Alexis, Rachel

Officers'  reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
President (Kate):  Done with AAMD (Annual Active Membership
       Dues) forms.  Still need to send in pledge fees and fill out reg-
       istration form for Conclave. Conclave is fun! Please encourage
       yourself and others to come. It costs $30 but if money is a prob-
       lem, chapter has money to pay for this.
       I still need the people to take the positions of coke, food, trans-
       port, tools, and silkscreen chairs.
       CPR instruction is this Saturday (another one will happen on
       Nov 5). I will collect names for those interested.
SVP (Barbara):  Service program is happening.  Sign up for Satur-
       day's project at National Braille Press. Thursday night at 6pm
       is envelope stuffing for Family Weekend. They will also feed us.
       We currently have no project a week from Sat.  but I'll try to
       fix that soon. Pledge Project on Nov 19.
MVP (Dave):  Got last pledge!  8 out of 14 attended first pledge
       meeting, which will be on either Tue or Thur from now on.
       Keep in touch with your little brothers.  Let me know if you
       can't do that.
       Pledges also want a Pledge Felowship event.
       Plan to have Chapter Skills Weekend in a week (10/22, 10/23).
       Need Rachel, Emily, Yale, and Kate to teach.
APOcEd (bert):  not present, [but people say that] deadline is like
       Sunday. Convince your little brothers to write articles.
PubDir (Charley):  IC board is still scrod.  Need to teach how to
       do drop poster receipts at Chapter Meeting. Ping is writing an
       article to Apoc.
ASC (Cathy): Keep office clean. I'm requested to buy stamps.
Historian (Richard): Took lots of pictures which I will develop soon.
Committee  reports:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UMOC (Richard): I'm sending a letter to ILG's asking for recommen-
       dations for charities, together with UMOC rules. Next meeting
       is probably next Friday. I'll have the rules out at Chapter Meet-
       ing.

New  Business:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Treasurer (Henning): Our source of income, Reg Day, will go away.
       We can't charge for service, so we probably need to raise en-
       dowment funds. We also have a little too much to ask ASA for
       money.
President (Kate): We'll probably have finance / legislation Meetings
       (maybe instead of CPPC) soon.  Henning will send budget to
       APOC for discussion.
       One of Bridget, Rachel, and I will do food PC'ing educational
       module.
Announcements:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Barbara: Project this weekend! Bert is PC'ing Halloween project on
       Georges Island.

Yale: We might use holographic ghost (instead of/of Richard) in dark
       tunnel.
       I left an important notebook at chapter weekend. If you know
       about it, let me know.

Barbara: If you become the new tools chair, we need to talk about
       fixing the tools.

Kate:  We have a schmuck!

PFTGOTO:
~~~~~~~
Bridget:  Yay!
Ezra:  Thanks to my sub-PC's for CWI. More than 20 people showed
       up on Sat.
Richard:  Ice-cream on Sat. was great. Ha! You left out!
Ping:   Medical Center gave me Amoxicillin for cold and flu.  How
       incompetent!
Alexis:  I just bought a textbook today whose cover has MIT in it. It's
       not fair that they force us to see MIT!
Dave:    My friday nights are finally filled.  [picture of Dave's babe
       (BDC partner) passed around. Richard took a picture of Dave
       blushing.]
Ping:  Pledge Ceremony at CWI was cool.
