It looks like we're going to have to push the Bookex meeting until
next week. Time TBD.
But while I have your attention:
Do you want Book Exchange to happen next term?
The Web interface to Bookex has been the major factor in its success
for the past n terms. If people can't browse for books and buy books
with techcash, they won't find our service convenient and a lot of our
effort will be wasted, and the people who entrusted their books to us
won't get a good return.
So, consider becoming APO's collective hero by being the next Bookex
Webgod(dess).
Brian is graduating and we need someone awesome to take his place!
Freshmen, sophomores, even juniors are eligible. You'll have to learn
Ruby on Rails if you don't already know it (or pull a Brian and
rewrite the entire thing in your favorite language :-P), and be
dedicated to keeping the website up and running correctly during
Bookex. Brian will teach you how to do everything, and he'll be there
to help this spring. The chapter really really needs somebody to do
this, so if you volunteer, we will thank you a lot.
