Good day!

Summary:
Splash
Lobby 13, 7:30-9:30am on Saturday, November 17
meet in Lobby 10, 12-2pm on Sunday, November 18

Please email me if you are interested in helping out. Even if you
can't make those particular times, you will still be welcome to
volunteer. Just send me the hours you are available, and I can get
you as many shifts as you want.

More info:

Splash has over 1800 students signed up already, and most of them will
be in lobby 13 on the morning of November 17th trying to sign in
before their first class. We will be very useful (and we get to see
all the happy faces of high schoolers and middle schoolers coming in
for a weekend of really neat classes, aww, cute desires to learn that
we can help nurture).

Right, so that's 7:30am on Saturday, November 17. Yes, 7:30, but
there will be breakfast and smiling faces (and with Brown it's totally
going to be a party).

Also, lunchtime on Sunday. We want to be there to set up, make sure
that students get food, don't get lost on their way to Walker, and
about a dozen other little things that really need people, so Splash
continues to be a generally exciting (and not too frustrating)
experience for all the students.

There are also security shifts from 9am to 10pm on Saturday and 9am to
7pm on Sunday that are also wonderfully useful and involve wandering
the halls with walkie talkies and looking official so you can help
teachers and students when things go wrong (because they do). People
get lost, classrooms are locked, teachers aren't there yet, etc.
There is also a book exchange (bring a book, get a coupon, come back
and take a book) and an info desk that need people.

So yes, come, gather, enjoy. Oh, if you take a security or meal
shift, you get a SECURITY shirt, and if you are helping out during any
normal meal time, you will be fed. Breakfast is 7:30-9:30 on
Saturday, Lunch is 12-2 on both days, and Dinner is 5-7pm on Saturday.
