The Conclave of SCIENCE! is coming up in only four (4) weeks And
naturally, you want to go, because all the cool kids are going.
If you're staffing Conclave, you should be dressed appropriately... in a
lab coat! With the APO Conclave logo on the pocket!
But even if you insist on being poorly dressed (Don't you know about
proper dress in the laboratory? You obviously need to attend a safety
talk.), you need to tell us if you're volunteering.
If you want to register to attend Conclave, Mandi will send instructions
about that later in the week. If you're only volunteering, you won't be
able to attend any of the workshops, banquet, get a beaker, or get most of
the fun of finally getting to go to a Conclave (without all the
transportation hassle.)
Here's how signing up to help will work for the chapter.
If you're a current student: You have the option of ordering a lab coat.
All of the workshops, banquet, beaker, and t-shirt pre-orders are covered
under Conclave registration which Mandi will send mail about later.
If you're an alum: You have the option of ordering a t-shirt, lab coat,
and/or beaker.
How to sign up
If you're a current student
To volunteer: Tell Samuel (s_evans) that you'll be volunteering and what
times you'll likely be available.
To buy a lab coat: Tell me quantity, size and style (see below)
If you're an alum:
Tell Jennifer (jtu) that you're coming and when you can help out.
Tell me whether you will be attending the banquet and whether you want to
order anything. (There will be three meals served at Conclave: lunch on
Saturday, dinner Saturday night (banquet), breakfast on Sunday.)
Costs
$30 registration fee if you're a current student (sign up later)
$7 beaker if you're an alum (or not attending)
$8 regular t-shirt
$10 ladies' cut t-shirt
$20 lab coat with Conclave logo
If you're ordering something, you need to tell me

-If you're ordering a lab coat, specify whether you want a men's or
women's lab coat (as far as I can tell, they are the same except men's are
38" long and women's are 37" long. Make sure you have the sizing right
though.)

Deadlines
If you are ordering a lab coat: Sunday, September 16 at midnight.
(Hard deadline. As in, order going out Monday morning, probably before I
go to sleep.)
If you are not ordering a lab coat (t-shirt order is fine): Friday,
September 21.
