**THE SHORT**
-we'll be making letter shirts
-send me shirt sizes/colors as well as fun fabric patterns/colors you'd
like to make letters out of *before* tomorrow morning
-we'll cut out letters at the midway, and
-assemble shirts in the office afterwards
-It's quick easy and fun fellowship!
****THE LONG****
So the plan is (if there is interest) to cut out letters of interesting
fabric, and then use a iron-activated webbing to attach the letters to
t-shirts. Then something like fabric paint can be used to seal the edges
of the letters to the shirts.
It's a fast and easy way to make letter shirts that can be worn on
"dirtier" projects as well as for reg day.
I'd like to go to a fabric store tomorrow morning and get the fabric and
webbing, so if you are interested in making a shirt then send me what if
any preferences you have for fabric and paint colors. Otherwise I'll just
get some random smattering of colors.
We don't have a large stock of shirts in the silkscreen room so if you'd
like a shirt either bring one or if someone knows where to purchase cheap
shirts I can pick some up as well if people send me sizes and colors.
The shirts will obviously cost money, and it'd be nice to split the cost
of the fabric and paint.
Letters and webbing can be cut at the activities midway and the shirts can
be assembled in the office afterwards (ends at 6pm I think). And if you
ask nicely I can make a shirt for you if you can't make it.
It'll fun and easy... even the most none-crafty person can do it! :)
