Hi guys,
We need a PC for a project on Saturday the 8th.
Organization: Cradles to Crayons
Activity: packing backpacks (and many other tasks related to packing
backpacks) with school supplies for needy children.
Time: 2pm-6:30pm (including travel).
Let me know if you want to PC and I'll send you more information.
We also still need Manpower and Aftermath subPCs for BookEx. Email me
if you are available to do these important jobs.
The responsibilities of a PC (for a service project) are:
1. Getting people to sign up for the project (may include sending
angry emails and/or talking to people individually)
2. A couple days before the project, if the number of people who have
volunteered is significantly off from the number I estimated to the
organization, call the organization and ask if the new number of
volunteers is ok. Depending on what they say you may have to
apologetically cancel the project, or cap the number of your
volunteers.
3. Lead the group to the project on time (you may offer to give
wake-up calls if you feel so inclined)
I'll give you all the info you need to do these things.
YiLFS,
Brown
