Hi everyone,
I have this vision. Every semester, we will buy our textbooks used,
learn things, and then, for the ones we know we will never crack
again, sell them (for $10 less than we paid) to another MIT student
with a similar vision, allowing our gentle thrift to propagate. Ah,
what a shining and noble future this would be! So simple, yet so
divine. Indeed, we could find new joy in our own existence, if we
could but do any small thing to bring this radiant future closer to
now . . .
But wait! We can! -- with Bookex!
First Bookex meeting is tomorrow at 6pm in the office (followed by the
Conclave meeting). For everyone, but for new brothers especially,
this is a great way to get involved early in the term before classes
get hosing. So come, give your input on the new proposed Bookex
policies, and take what honorable positions fit your fancy and
disposition. For the shining future, brothers.
