Hey all,
Sorry about getting the minutes out late. As a reminder, there will be
a meeting tomorrow evening in the APO office to go over the registration
packets. 7 PM.
Minutes:
-Alcohol/Security:
-Maybe we should use our own staff as security in the BU gym
Saturday night. Or we could hire BU police, but that costs a lot.
-NO ALCOHOL. We need to iron out an official policy on this to get
all individuals to sign AT REGISTRATION.
-There are no showers. This needs to be made public.
-We have the gym from 7 AM Sat. to 11 AM Sun.
-Hotel: They will ream you. We still have our block.
-Parking/Transportation:
-East lot is open to public. We should really just check to make
sure everything is okay with MIT.
-Shuttles: They cost money, will ferry between MIT and BU at set
times. We should figure out what those times are.
-Food Guide: mdholmes is on it. Yay for reusing HTGAMIT
-Beaker Ordering: Maybe use alum help? We may need to pick these up
ourselves.
-Wobsite: Spang is on it
-We should do a workshop on ritual and how to do it properly/make
materials, etc. Our ceremony box is awesome.
-Things still to do:
1. Alums for security
2. reservation for EC AVComm (speakers, etc)
3. Confirm with Natan for DJ
4. find fellowship chair
5. find banquet/awards chair
We should really make a youtube video to publicize conclave. mdholmes
is on it.
Proposed Deadlines:
-Aug 15: Packets completed.
-Aug 20: Packets mailed out.
-Sept. 1: Shirt Order out.
Food ordered (ostro)
-Sept 21:
Beaker deadline? (maybe order sooner?)
Workshops finalized, confirmed, etc.
Service projects confirmed
-Sept 28: Reg. Table Packets complete
