Hello,
I would like to know about the COPYRIGHT on libwww(CERN WWW library of
Common Code) and HTBrows(CERN Line Mode Browser).
The file "README", which is included in cern_httpd-3.0pre6
distribution, says as fllows.
> The following CERN software is hereby put into the public
> domain:
> - W3 basic ("line-mode") client
> - W3 basic server
> - W3 library of common code.
However, I could not find the same description (says "These are Public
Domain") in any other place, such as in libwww distribusion, in
HTBrowse distribution, in http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/Copyright.html.
Tell me whether these are Public Domain or not.
Tell me where SURELY COPYRIGHT DESCRIPTIONS place at.
