[ CERN 3.0pre6 proxy server inserting \0 at start of POST data ]
its a bug, seems to be fixed in 3.0 - I'd encourage all people out
there with CGI scripts to consider putting a check in for this bug, or
at least making it send back something saying "Hey, wow, you're using
3.0pre6 - turf it and upgrade to 3.0"
