One other issue is the encoding of the files. Several similar multipart MIME
encodings were suggested during the past few weeks. For the first
implementation, all browsers should use the same encoding scheme to facilitate
interoperability.
The BOF meeting on File Upload at the WWW conference is on Wednesday at 6pm.
Hopefully, many issues can be resolved then.
