I have been using OS2 since the 1.3 days! I saw a very depressing artical
on the PCWeek home page talking about how IBM is giving up on OS2. Dammit
can't we all do something? I mean I hate using WIN95, or NT. The interface
stinks, crashes, and is very slow. I wrote IBM and told them how I feel.
Can we all start some type of major pressure to get them to place a higher
priority on OS2.
Sure we may never dominate the market, but OS2 is a much better Operating
System and most of us running it are the power user, intelligent type. Not
the bubble gum crowd. We run the trick DIS apps out here at S Cal. Edison
and many other apps that will run and perform what we need only under OS2.
The windows stuff is nonexistint. Well I have put in my 2 cents, maybe
some of the other big OS2 users on the web, such as the shareware bbs, and
berkley, hobbes, etc can place some heat.
I guess we could form a special www page just for this pupose and have all
sign it so we can forward the info to IBM.
