I've been helping to set up my sister's new Thinkpad 701C, and have
run into a problem. Due to some bug, the folder on the OS/2 desktop foor
'Bonuspack' showed up twice. I tried to delete one copy of it, and it ended
up deleting both. Is there any way I can rebuild all of the objects in that
folder? I've managed to get the IBM Works folder back, along with program
icons for FaxWorks and CIM. Other things I know were in there include the
Multimedia folder, and the IBM Internet Connection stuff. Deinstalling and
reinstalling MMPM failed to recreate the folder, and the system doesn't seem
to have come with install disks for any of the bonuspack stuff (including the
Internet Connection). I have my own copy of the Bonuspack, but it's on CD. I
think that the easiest thing to do would be to copy the appropriate folders
from my system to hers, but OS/2 doesn't seem to want to let me copy desktop
objects onto a disk. Does anyone know how I can get these things copied
across, or what other methods might work to get those folders recreated?
Thanks a bunch.
