I'm trying to install OS/2 for the first time, but I am having trouble
finding a driver. I have an Allied Telesis AT1700 Ethernet card, but
MPTN won't recognize the driver that came with the card (which is also
the driver on ibm's ftp site) either in the install or configure options.
Does anybody know what I can do?
While I'm at it, I might as well ask about another problem I have with
an irritating whine generated by my sound card (sound galaxy NX pro) using
the sound blaster pro driver. I believe it only starts when it is asked
to play midi music. (Actually, I had the same whine under windows with
the FM synth driver that came with the card, but I solved that by not
using the driver.) Can anyone help with this one too?
Thanks,
Eddy Karat
