Dear OS2`rs,
I am trying to install OS2warp (got it about a year ago!!) and would like
some advice on how to set up config.sys on diskette to enable the
installation from cd-rom(SB hex speed IDE 1E8,IRQ 11).
Have bluepak cd-rom and bonuspak.
I have win95 (nuff said !!!!) and C,D and E h\drives.Would like to
set OS2 up on drive E.I have tried editing the 1.44 BUT it tells me
no cd-rom detected,so I have not done it right,or what:
do I del basedev506,add ??basedev.../P:1E8 /IRQ:11 /ATAPI.
I have P133,triton piplined m\board,diamond stlth vid,creative ide 6xcd-rom,
zip drive,1.44,ne200 ethernet card(irq10,dma 280),# x h\drv`s,viewsonic 17gs,
conner 800r tape strmr(int) and us robotics int. 28800 modem.16Meg ram.
I really hope you can help as I would like to set up drv E for os2,but as I
prev. had it up and running on another machine long ago I cannot re-use the
diskette i made,and have tried all afternoon to set it up to see the cd-rom -
no luck!
Would I need to also mod the 1.44 for the triton intel 82430fx driver-other?
If you can`t help,anyone else I can try?
