As we discussed at yesterday's meeting of your os/2 group, I am
looking for an os/2 warp coach. I am an experienced programmer (vax,
cobol, assembler from 15 years ago), but a bit out of touch with
current pc technology. I am looking for someone to coach a quick
student (me) on warp. Depending on the skills of the person, other
work could follow, including potentially significant projects
relating to our core business (metal stamping).
For the immediate project, the ideal person would know warp connect
well, know something about networking warp (peer to peer, netware and
ibm lan server), rexx, and common apps such as describe. If someone
were familiar with statistical programming (such as for spc) in c++,
and relational databases, significant work could follow.
