Welcome to our new members that signed up at the Activities Midway! I
thought that it might be a good time to remind people about our mailing
list options... The MIT OS/2 Users Group has a two mailing lists for
M.I.T. affiliates:
* os2partners the MIT OS/2 discussion list
* os2announce the MIT specific announcements list
These are both public lists, so you can use 'mailmaint' or 'blanche'
from Athena to subscribe and unsubscribe to your heart's content.
Please note that you only need to be on *one* of the lists. People on
the os2partners list will receive both discussion and announcements,
while members of os2announce will just receive OS/2-related
announcements. There is a third list, os2meetings, that is for local
off-campus, non-MIT types, and is only the meeting announcements.
As always, if you need help subscribing or unsubscribing, you can
contact me at klund@mit.edu or os2admin@mit.edu. If you want to join a
list, or change lists, you can just send me mail telling me what list
you want to be on, and I will take care of the rest. All mailing list
traffic (i.e. os2partners) with continue to be archived in our discuss
meeting, charon.mit.edu:/usr/spool/discuss/os2d.
And os2www@mit.edu will continue to be the contact for our world-famous
OS/2 World Wide Web Homepage :
