For those who weren't already aware:
I tracked down the `hanging' problem to a bad interaction between the cache
controller and the bus arbiter when caching video memory. Disabling the
caching of video memory seems to fix the problem.
If I get bored some time this week, I might call ZEOS and see if I can get
them to admit there's a hardware bug.
