jaws is now on the net using the Lance PCI Ethernet card. There was
apparently a BIOS problem where it doesn't set the right bits for the
card to do DMA; the current workaround isn't really correct; Charles
says he will fix it correctly later on.
telnetd doesn't do the right thing on NetBSD-Athena when people aren't
in the passwd file already. I know why this is, and I've fixed the
main problem; now I'm trying to get the groups code in libAL to work
properly (it's inoperational and broken in the Athena code). We will
have a working telnetd by the end of tomorrow.
Remaining items to do that I know about:
* move /usr/athena, /emul/linux, /usr/andrew local, remove
/usr/X11R6.
* Make AFS configuration paranoid.
* Make hacked rkinitd
* Make dialup maintenance programs and scripts work under
NetBSD.
