only one minor one..
seperating the X11 tree seems like a good idea with respect to installations..
however, I do think it would be nice if either we kept
updating the X11 imake rules such that xmkmf works, or else, update
the xmkmf which we use to look in the right places (so that people
can use xmkmf to build things.. which is a nice feature)
